My personal view of the car was its a good hybrid car and the best thing about it was its a manual, a first for hybrids. A Bruneian who is a honda enthusiast organized a honda “meet up” last sunday at indoor stadium. Usually they have this event a few times a year and this will be the last one for the year 2011 , According to one of the HONDA members they are planning for another “meet up” and this time it will be a bigger one. Roughly 80 cars came from 4 different districts with their colourfull and fancy HONDA rides. Its a great day for all honda owners who came on that day, They shared their interest and exchanged information.

These are the few Teams that came on sunday:

GD Team, B.es.T, RG, Crx Squad, Brunei Hacers, EG squad, EF club and ABCrew.

Apologies for the long hiatus, just a quick update that we attended the launching of the CR-Z last Wednesday and in all was a great turn out from Honda enthusiasts here. Many thanks goes out to BruneiMotors for the invitation.

Here's somthing for you guys that have not decided to upgrade your exhausts. The car is fitted with Martellius Exhaust and sounds awesome on dyno. Enjoy!

Official 2011 9th Gen Civic

Below are photos of the new 2011 9th generation civic(diesel). This was manufactured in the swindon factory as was its predecessor. As of now the type r version has not yet been revealed but a member over at the civinfo forum has photoshopped a photo which looks quite promising. They still retain the basic shape but honestly im not a fan of the rear end. The front looks like its from the odessey. Engine specs will be posted up once I get more info on this.

FN2 has an original filter case near exhaust, and it tends to give the bad influence of heat. In order to advance air intake efficiency more, intercepting the heat of an engine room for the reason, the filter air box of the mass chamber shape which did the maximum practical use of the space of an engine room is developed. Because to enable a lot of air introduction from the bonnet front, a large-sized carbon introduction duct is installed in the bonnet inside.

It is possible to send in cool air into a filter air box direct. By always keeping the RAM effect and intake air temperature cool, the large power in a high revolution region and a torque rise are realized from low revolution. Toda Racing Balancer Shaft Killer Kit - FN2

CL7 Accord Euro-R & FN2 CIVIC Type-R use a balancer shaft and integrated oil pump system. Although useful for characterizing the Accord's street driving style, it does cause frictional losses of approx 5HP. For competition orientated cars, we have developed the Balancer Shaft Killer KIT that replacing this system for improved performance. FEATURE -Regains approx 5HP and reduces the engine weight by 4kg. -Can be installed without any modification on the engine block. -As for customers using TODA anti G force oil pan, please purchase the optional TODA oil baffle plate for balancer shaft killers (11200-K20-LB1 or 11200-K20-NB1) separately to maintain the performance of "Anti G force". -Oil pump relief pressure is more highly set up from standard specification for bearing protection at the time of delivery (approx 10% - 15% up).

Not too sure about which J's Racing exhaust he has on but from the sound of it looks like the 70RR. Both the 60RR and 70RR is made out of titanium so its very light. Looking forward if they make the aluminium one.

Honda has introduced a new model year version of its British-built Civic Type R Euro in Japan. The 2011MY batch will be the last of this model series to make its way to Japan as production of the current generation three-door Civic Type R has been terminated in Europe because its 2.0-litre VTEC engine does not meet the Euro V emissions regulations.

The Japanese automaker had imported 1,850 examples of the Civic Type R Euro from Britain in late 2009. This time, Honda will bring a total of 1,500 units of the 2011MY version of its high-revving hot hatch. The only changes over the previous model year are the addition of a new Crystal Black Pearl color, some trim updates such as the different finish of the fuel cap and a new numbered plaque.

In Japan, prices for the 2011MY Civic Type R Euro start from 3,000,000 Yen [including consumption tax] or about US$37,200.

Verdict:
The spoon spec sounds better, its bassy and low.

While the Marco spec has a more raspy sound and really screams in VTEC.

Performance wise, its hard to tell unless we run a dyno, afterall it is custom and some may doubt the gains or sounds over an aftermarket exhaust system.

Wheel alignment is part of standard automobile maintenance that consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are set to the car maker's specification. The purpose of these adjustments is to reduce tire wear, and to ensure that vehicle-travel is straight and true (without "pulling" to one side). Alignment angles can also be altered beyond the maker's specifications to obtain a specific handling characteristic. Motorsport and off-road applications may call for angles to be adjusted well beyond 'normal' for a variety of reasons.

Camber is the tilting of the wheels from the vertical when viewed from the front of the vehicle. When the wheels tilt outward at the top, the camber is positive (+). When the wheel tilts inward at the top, the camber is negative (-). The amount of tilt is measured in degrees from the vertical. Camber settings influence the directional control and the tire wear.Too much positive camber will result in premature wear on the outside of the tire and cause excessive wear on the suspension parts.Too much negative camber will result in premature wear on the inside of the tire and cause excessive wear on the suspension parts.

As usual the system is constructed from aircraft quality T304 stainless steel and features mandrel bent curves for optimum gas flow. Tests on an independent rolling road dyno have shown that the CAT-back system - when used in combination with the manifold and SportsCAT - will give a power increase of 14bhp." :D
